Preisträgerkonzert Ensemblewettbewerb BRISK der ZHdK

Every year, starting in January 2026, the Department of Music at Zurich University of the Arts will hold an internal ensemble competition for historical instruments and singing in the field of historical performance practice.

This year's winners are the three recorder players Madeleine Fiedeldeij, Juana Fernandez, and Élodie Charpié. At the winners' concert in March 2026, they will present a program dedicated to Margaret of Austria (1480–1530), a regent whose life was marked by loss and inner melancholy. The selected works from her musical circle and the Album de Marguerite d'Autriche unfold an intimate soundscape of grief, longing, and quiet reflection.
