Gianandrea Noseda has been General Music Director of the Zurich Opera House since the 2021/22 season. In addition, he is Music Director of the National Symphony Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra. In 2019, he became Music Director of the newly founded Tsinandali Festival and the Georgian Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra. From 2007 to 2018, Noseda served as General Music Director of the Teatro Regio di Torino, where he artistically reshaped the opera house during his tenure. Noseda has conducted the world’s leading orchestras (Berlin Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Concertgebouw Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic) as well as at the most prestigious opera houses (La Scala, Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House) and festivals (BBC Proms, Edinburgh, Salzburg, and Verbier). He has also held leading positions with the BBC Philharmonic (Chief Conductor), the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (Principal Guest Conductor), the Mariinsky Theatre (Principal Guest Conductor), and the Stresa Festival (Artistic Director). His discography comprises more than 80 CDs, with a special focus on the "Musica Italiana" project, which features neglected 20th-century Italian repertoire. Born in Milan, Noseda is a Commendatore al Merito della Repubblica Italiana and received the Order of Merit of the City of Milan in 2024. In 2015, he was named "Musical America’s Conductor of the Year," was awarded "Conductor of the Year" at the 2016 International Opera Awards, and received the Puccini Prize in 2023. In the same year, the Oper! Awards honored Noseda as "Best Conductor," particularly recognizing his interpretations of the first two "Ring" operas at the Zurich Opera House.

Adele Thomas
Director Adele Thomas is from Wales. Since 2025, she has served alongside Sarah Crabtree as co-artistic director of the Welsh National Opera. She studied directing at Cambridge University and is a graduate of the renowned Regional Theatre Young Directors Scheme as well as the National Theatre Studio course for young directors. She made her debut as an opera director in 2017 with "Così fan tutte" at Northern Ireland Opera in Belfast. Adele Thomas was nominated for an Olivier Award for Handel’s "Berenice" at the Royal Opera in London and "Bajazet", a co-production of the Royal Opera and the Irish National Opera. In 2022, she was nominated for the International Opera Award as a director. Her work as an opera director includes "Tannhäuser" (Theater Magdeburg, 2025), "Rigoletto" (Welsh National Opera, 2024), "Semele" (Glyndebourne, 2023), the Handel evening "In the Realms of Sorrow" (London Handel Festival, 2023), and "Apollo e Dafne" (Royal Opera, 2020). As a theatre director, she has worked on productions including "Oresteia" at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, "Thomas Tallis" and "The Knight of the Burning Pestle" at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, "Macbeth" for the Bristol Tobacco Factory, and "The Weir" for the English Touring Theatre. Emma Woods
Emma Woods is a British choreographer. She works with directors including Adele Thomas, Paul Foster, Bartlett Sher, and John Wilson, choreographers Alistair David, Chris Gattelli, and Anthony Van Laast, conductors Laurence Cummings, Sir Antonio Pappano, and Christian Curnyn, as well as Rachel Kavanagh, Sarah Travis, and Steve Ridley. Most recently, she worked as choreographer for "Tannhäuser" at the Theater Magdeburg and "Rigoletto" at the Welsh National Opera, and as movement director for "Junkyard" (Backstage Theatre in Peckham) and "A Comedy of Errors" (Silk Street). She also worked as choreographer for "Blond Eckbert"/"Acis und Galatea" at the Potsdam Winter Opera and for "Semele" at the Glyndebourne Opera House, and served as choreographer and associate director for "In the Realms of Sorrow" at the London Handel Festival. Further productions include "Vinegar Tom" at London’s Mack Theatre, "Bajazet", a co-production of the Irish National Opera and the Royal Opera London, "FascinatingAïda" on a UK tour, "Apollo e Daphne" at the Royal Opera, "Così fan tutte" at Nevill Holt Opera and Northern Ireland Opera in Belfast, "The King and I" at the London Palladium, on a UK tour and at Theatre Orb in Japan, as well as "Berenice" at the Royal Opera and "Eyam" at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. At the Zurich Opera House, she worked as choreographer for "Il trovatore" and "Un ballo in maschera".
Hannah Clark
Hannah Clark is a set and costume designer. She trained in theatre design at Nottingham Trent University and London’s Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2005, she won the Linbury Biennial Prize for stage design. Her recent work includes costumes and set designs for "The Turn of the Screw" at the Royal Opera in London, "Parsifal" at the Prague National Theatre, "La Calisto" at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, "Semele" at Glyndebourne Opera House, "Mitridate, re di ponto" and "Idomeneo" at Garsington Opera, "Il trittico" at the Scottish Opera, "In the Realms of Sorrow" at the London Handel Festival, "Berenice" at the Linbury Theatre of the Royal Opera, and "Stiffelio" at the Opéra national du Rhin. She also collaborated with Requardt & Rosenberg on "Future Cargo" and "Deadclub", and with the Royal Shakespeare Company on "Henry VI Rebellion" and "The Wars of the Roses". Further productions include "Alcina" at Opera North, "Così fan tutte" at Northern Ireland Opera, "L’incoronazione di Poppea" at the Opera Theatre of St Louis, and "4.48 Psychosis", among others at the Royal Opera in London and in New York. At the Zurich Opera House, she designed the costumes for Jetske Mijnssen’s "Agrippina" and "Platée", as well as for Andreas Homoki’s "Ariadne auf Naxos".
Franck Evin
Franck Evin, born in Nantes, moved to Paris at the age of 19 to study piano. At night he accompanied singers at the Café-Théâtre Le Connétable and also began to take an interest in lighting. He eventually decided to combine music and technology. Thanks to a scholarship from the French Ministry of Culture, he became assistant to the head of lighting at the Opéra de Lyon in 1983. There he worked with Ken Russell and Robert Wilson, among others. In 1986 he began working as an independent lighting designer at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus and obtained his master’s certificate in lighting in 1993. During this time he had a close collaboration with Werner Schröter and the conductor Eberhard Kloke. This was followed by productions in Nantes, Strasbourg, Paris, Lyon, Vienna, Bonn, Brussels and Los Angeles, among other places. From 1995 to 2012 he was Artistic Director of the lighting department at the Komische Oper Berlin, where he was responsible for all new productions. Important artistic partners during this period included Andreas Homoki, Barrie Kosky, Calixto Bieito and Hans Neuenfels. In 2006 Franck Evin was awarded the German Theatre Prize "Opus" in the category of lighting design. From 2012 to 2025 he was Artistic Director of the lighting department at the Zurich Opera House. In addition to his work in Zurich, he continued to work on international productions at opera houses in Oslo, Stockholm, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Munich and Graz, as well as at the Opéra Bastille, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro La Fenice, the Vlaamse Opera and at the Bayreuth Festival.
Tieni Burkhalter
Tieni Burkhalter studied Fine Arts at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where he specialized in video and video installation. After his works were mainly shown in galleries and at experimental film festivals, he has been working for the stage since 2009. As a video producer, he is closely associated with the Zurich Opera House. His stage work has also taken him to theaters in Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, Moscow, Oslo, and Savonlinna. At the Zurich Opera House, he worked with Andreas Homoki ("Der fliegende Holländer", "Das Land des Lächelns", "Das Rheingold", "Siegfried" and "Die Walküre"), Evgeny Titov ("Lessons in Love and Violence" and "L’Orfeo"), Jan Philipp Gloger ("Die Csárdásfürstin" and "Le nozze di Figaro"), Adele Thomas ("Il trovatore"), Rainer Holzapfel ("Die Odyssee"), Nina Russi ("Coraline") and Kai Anne Schuhmacher ("Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer"). For Ballet Zurich, he produced videos for Christian Spuck ("Anna Karenina" and "Das Mädchen mit den Schwefelhölzern"), Marcos Morau ("Nachtträume"), Edward Clug ("Faust") and Douglas Lee ("A-Life"). He was also involved at the Savonlinna Opera Festival with Philipp Himmelmann for "Aida", in Berlin with Christian Spuck for "Madame Bovary", and has been collaborating for many years on Dmitri Tcherniakov’s productions: "Pelléas et Mélisande" and "Die Sache Makropulos" at the Zurich Opera House, "Senza Sangue/Herzog Blaubarts Burg", "Elektra" and "Salome" at the Hamburg State Opera, "La Fille de Neige" and "Les Troyens" at the Opéra National de Paris, and "Tristan und Isolde" at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin.
Janko Kastelic
Janko Kastelic ist ein kanadisch-slowenischer Dirigent, Chorleiter, Pianist und Organist. Er begann seine musikalische Ausbildung in Kanada am Royal/Western Conservatory of Music und der St. Michael’s Choir School. Er hat einen Abschluss in Dirigieren, Komposition und Musiktheorie von der Universität Toronto und setzte sein Studium an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien fort. Seit 2017 ist er Chordirektor am Opernhaus Zürich. Er war einer der Kapellmeister der Wiener Hofmusikkapelle, Studienleiter des JET-Programms für junge Sänger am Theater an der Wien und Assistent bei den Bayreuther Festspielen sowie Gastchordirektor an der Hamburgischen Staatsoper. Zu den Positionen, die er im Lauf seiner Karriere bekleidet hat, gehört auch die Stelle des Generalmusikdirektors und Operndirektors am Slowenischen Nationaltheater Maribor, des Zweiten Chordirektors an der Wiener Staatsoper sowie des Korrepetitors an der Opéra National de Paris. Er war Assistenzprofessor an der Universität Ljubljana und Mentor an der Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien. Seine künstlerischen Leistungen sind dokumentiert auf mehreren Live-Aufnahmen, darunter Tschaikowskis Pique Dame und Schönbergs Moses und Aron. Er arrangierte und dirigierte auch Werke für die Feierlichkeiten zum Mozartjahr 2006. Zu seinen Arbeiten beim Klangbogen-Festival in Wien gehört die europäische Erstaufführung von Blochs Macbeth. Janko Kastelic ist auch ein engagierter Pädagoge, der sich der Förderung der nächsten Generation von Musikerinnen und Musikern verschrieben hat.
Fabio Dietsche
Fabio Dietsche studied dramaturgy at the Zurich University of the Arts as well as cross flute with Maria Goldschmidt in Zurich and with Karl-Heinz Schütz in Vienna. He gained his first experience as a dramaturge in 2012/13 with Xavier Zuber at Konzert Theater Bern, where he accompanied, among others, Matthias Rebstock’s production of "neither" (Beckett/Feldman) at the Berner Reithalle. Since 2013, he has been a dramaturge at the Zurich Opera House, where he completed his studies with the production dramaturgy of Puccini’s "La bohème." There, he has been involved, among others, in the world premieres of Stefan Wirth’s "Girl with a Pearl Earring" and Leonard Evers’ "Odyssee," the chamber opera "Jakob Lenz" by Wolfgang Rihm, and the Swiss premiere of Manfred Trojahn’s "Orest." He has worked with, among others, Robert Carsen, Tatjana Gürbaca, Rainer Holzapfel, Andreas Homoki, Ted Huffman, Mélanie Huber, Barrie Kosky, Hans Neuenfels, and Kai Anne Schuhmacher. He is currently studying cultural management on a part-time basis at the University of Zurich.

Charles Castronovo
The American tenor Charles Castronovo studied classical singing at California State University. His career began as a member of the ensemble at the Los Angeles Opera before he was accepted into the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the Metropolitan Opera, where he made his debut in 1999 as Beppe in "Pagliacci". Since then, he has appeared at the world’s leading opera houses, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna State Opera, the Opéra national de Paris, the Berlin State Opera and the Bavarian State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Teatro Real Madrid. His repertoire ranges from major Mozart roles to Edgardo in "Lucia di Lammermoor", Alfredo in "La traviata", Nemorino in "L’elisir d’amore", and Rodolfo in "La bohème", as well as Faust, Roméo, and Don José in "Carmen". He sang the title role in the world premiere of Daniel Catán’s "Il Postino" at the Los Angeles Opera alongside Plácido Domingo. His recent role debuts include Riccardo in "Un ballo in maschera" and Mario Cavaradossi in "Tosca". In the 2024/25 season, he appeared as Riccardo at the Bavarian State Opera and the Zurich Opera House, as Don Carlos at the Opéra national de Paris, and as Don José at the Royal Opera House. His discography includes, among others, "Noble Renegades: Verdi Scenes & Arias" and "Puccini / I canti" from 2024.
George Petean
George Petean was born in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and studied piano, trombone, and voice. He made his stage debut in 1997 at the Cluj-Napoca Opera as Don Giovanni. In 1999, he won the Grand Prize at the international singing competition Hariclea Darclée. In 2000, he made his debut as Marcello (“La bohème”) at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, and from 2002 to 2010 he was a member of the Hamburg State Opera ensemble. Since then, he has worked as a freelance artist. Engagements have taken him to the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna State Opera, Opéra de Paris, the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the New York Met, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Berlin opera houses, Semperoper Dresden, Opera Amsterdam, and the Bregenz Festival. His repertoire includes roles such as Figaro (“Il barbiere di Siviglia”), Silvio (“Pagliacci”), Conte di Luna (“Il trovatore”), Rodrigo, Marquis of Posa (“Don Carlo”), Lord Enrico Ashton (“Lucia di Lammermoor”), Giorgio Germont (“La traviata”), Amonasro (“Aida”), Simon Boccanegra, and Rigoletto. At the Zurich Opera House, he has recently appeared as Macbeth, Simon Boccanegra, and Renato (“Un ballo in maschera”). Agnieszka Rehlis
Agnieszka Rehlis stammt aus Polen. Sie studierte Gesang an der Karol-Lipiński-Musikakademie in Breslau. Von 1996 bis 2007 gehörte sie zum Ensemble der Oper Breslau und sang dort u. a. Fenena (Nabucco), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Siébel (Faust), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) und Dorabella (Così fan tutte). 2003 debütierte sie am Teatr Wielki in Warschau als Fenena, später verkörperte sie dort auch Azucena (Il trovatore), den Komponisten in Ariadne auf Naxos, Orsini (Lucrezia Borgia), Adalgisa (Norma) und Lisa in Die Passagierin von Weinberg. 2014 übernahm die Sängerin bei der Neuproduktion von Die Passagierin bei den Bregenzer Festspielen die Partie der Hannah, eine Rolle, die sie in Folge auch am Lincoln Center New York, in Houston und Chicago interpretierte. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit widmet Agnieszka Rehlis dem Schaffen Krzysztof Pendereckis, unter dessen Leitung sie in vielen seiner Kompositionen mitwirkte, so etwa im Te Deum, Credo, Polnischen Requiem sowie in seiner Siebten und Achten Sinfonie. In jüngster Zeit sang sie Amneris (Aida) u. a. in London, Warschau, Dresden, Neapel, Frankfurt und in der Arena di Verona, Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde) in Sevilla und La Cieca (La Gioconda) bei den Opernfestspielen Salzburg. Am Opernhaus Zürich war sie u. a. als Azucena (Il trovatore) und in Verdis Messa da Requiem zu erleben. In der Spielzeit 2024/25 wird sie u. a. Azucena am Royal Opera House London und an der Staatsoper Berlin sowie Amneris in Florenz und Verona singen. In Florenz singt sie 2025 in Verdis Requiem unter Leitung von Zubin Mehta.
Katharina Konradi
Katharina Konradi stammt aus Kirgistan. Ihre musikalische Ausbildung erhielt sie in Berlin und München. Nachdem sie zu Beginn ihrer Karriere drei Jahre am Hessischen Staatstheater in Wiesbaden unter Vertrag gestanden hatte, gab sie 2018 ihr Debut als Ännchen (Der Freischütz) an der Hamburgischen Staatsoper und ist dem Haus seit dieser Zeit als festes Ensemblemitglied verbunden. In jüngster Zeit war sie als Woglinde (Das Rheingold) am Royal Opera House London, als Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) an der Wiener Staatsoper, als Adele (Die Fledermaus) an der Bayerischen Staatsoper, sowie als Servilia (La clemenza di Tito) und als Adina (L’elisir d’amore) an der Hamburgischen Staatsoper zu erleben. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ihrer Tätigkeit liegt auf diversen Konzertprojekten, die sie unter Dirigenten wie Thomas Hengelbrock, Daniel Harding, Manfred Honeck, Paavo Järvi, Kent Nagano und Gustavo Dudamel gesungen hat. Sie gibt ausserdem regelmässig Liederabende, etwa bei der Schubertíada in Vilabertran, der Schubertiade in Hohenems/Schwarzenberg, der Wigmore Hall in London, dem Palau de la Musica in Barcelona oder beim Festival de Granada. Zuletzt erschienen u.a. ihre Alben Echoes (zusammen mit Catriona Morison), Solitude mit Werken von Hugo Wolf, Robert Schumann u.a. sowie Insomnia mit Liedern von Franz Schubert. Am Opernhaus Zürich war sie zuletzt als Valencienne (Die lustige Witwe) zu erleben. In der Saison 2024/25 ist sie als Adele in München zu erleben, gibt an der Hamburgischen Staatsoper ihr Debüt als Gilda (Rigoletto) und singt in Beethovens 9. Sinfonie mit den Berliner Philharmonikern unter Kirill Petrenko.
Steffan Lloyd Owen
Baritone Steffan Lloyd Owen is from Wales and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He received numerous singing awards, including the W. Towyn Roberts Scholarship Prize, the Blue Riband Osborne Roberts Memorial Prize at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, and the Kathleen Ferrier Bursary Prize. In 2025, he won the Josep Palet Singing Competition and was a finalist at the Paris Opera Competition. He sang Sciarrone and the Jailer in a semi-staged "Tosca" alongside Sir Bryn Terfel and Kristine Opolais at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Escamillo ("La tragédie de Carmen") at the Buxton International Festival, and Guglielmo ("Così fan tutte") at the Welsh National Opera. Concert highlights included Beethoven’s Mass in C major and "Choral Fantasy" with the BBC National Orchestra, Chorus of Wales, and the orchestra of the Welsh National Opera. Since the 2024/25 season, he has been a member of the International Opera Studio, where he has sung, among other roles, the title role in "Gianni Schicchi".
Brent Michael Smith
Brent Michael Smith is from the United States. He studied voice at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia and at the University of Northern Iowa, as well as piano at Hope College in Michigan. In 2021, he was a finalist at the Queen Sonja International Music Competition and a semifinalist at the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions in 2020, and he won prizes at several other international singing competitions. He also received scholarships from the Loren L. Zachary Society and the Young Patronesses of the Opera Competition in Miami. In the United States, he sang roles including Zuniga ("Carmen"), Friedrich Bhaer (Mark Adamo’s "Little Women"), and Ashby ("La fanciulla del West") at Michigan Opera, Antonio ("Le nozze di Figaro") at Toledo Opera, Ariodante ("Xerxes") at the Glimmerglass Festival, Lakai ("Ariadne auf Naxos") at the Santa Fe Opera, as well as Celio (Prokofiev’s "The Love for Three Oranges") and Peter Quince ("A Midsummer Night’s Dream") at Opera Philadelphia. In 2020/21, he was a member of the International Opera Studio at the Zurich Opera House. Since then, he has been a member of the ensemble and has appeared there in roles including Sparafucile ("Rigoletto"), Raimondo ("Lucia di Lammermoor"), Prince Gremin ("Eugene Onegin"), Frère Laurent ("Roméo et Juliette"), Fafner ("Das Rheingold"), and Angelotti ("Tosca").
Stanislav Vorobyov
Stanislav Vorobyov is from Russia and studied at the Moscow Conservatory. He was a member of the International Opera Studio and has been a member of the ensemble at the Zurich Opera House since the 2018/19 season. Guest engagements have taken him to the Bregenz Festival as Don Basilio in "Il barbiere di Siviglia", Uncle Bonzo in "Madama Butterfly", and Il capitano/L’ispettore in Giordano’s "Siberia", to Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and Luxembourg as Nourabad in "Les Pêcheurs de perles", to the Concertgebouw Amsterdam as Ombra di Nino in "Semiramide", and in 2024 as Colline in "La bohème" at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre and the ROHM Theatre Kyōto.
Martin Zysset
Martin Zysset was born and raised in Solothurn. He trained as a clarinetist while simultaneously completing vocal studies, which he rounded off with masterclasses with Ernst Haefliger and Edith Mathis. In 1990/91, he was a member of the International Opera Studio at the Zurich Opera House and at the same time a scholarship holder of the Migros Culture Percentage as well as a prizewinner of the Pro Arte Lyrica Competition in Lausanne. Since 1992, he has been a regular guest at the Selzach Summer Festival. He has been a permanent member of the Zurich Opera House since 1991, where he has developed a wide-ranging repertoire of both buffo and dramatic roles, including Pedrillo, Monostatos, Spoletta, Incredibile ("Andrea Chénier"), Jaquino, Kudrjasch ("Káťa Kabanová"), Alfred ("Die Fledermaus"), Tamino, Tybalt, Dancaïro, Arturo, Knusperhexe, Brighella, as well as the male lead in Udo Zimmermann’s "The White Rose". He portrayed Simplicius in the operetta of the same name by Johann Strauss, which was also released on CD and DVD. Guest appearances have taken him throughout Europe, to Shanghai, and with "The Magic Flute", "Le nozze di Figaro", "Fidelio", and "Tannhäuser" to San Diego. For Bavarian Radio, he recorded Lehár’s operetta "Paganini". In Zurich, he has recently sung roles including Don Basilio ("Le nozze di Figaro"), Tschekalinsky ("Pique Dame"), Triquet ("Eugene Onegin"), the Chief Eunuch ("Das Land des Lächelns"), Goro ("Madama Butterfly"), Spoletta ("Tosca"), Dormont ("La scala di seta"), the White Minister ("Le Grand Macabre"), the Devil/Narrator ("Die Geschichte vom Soldaten"), the Third Jew ("Salome"), Schmidt ("Werther"), Feri ("Die Csárdásfürstin"), and Don Curzio ("Le nozze di Figaro").
Álvaro Diana Sanchez
Álvaro Diana Sanchez, Tenor, stammt aus Valencia (Spanien). Er studierte am Konservatorium seiner Heimatstadt bei Charo Vallés und besuchte Meisterkurse bei u.a. David Menéndez, Isabel Rey, Tina Gorina, Marina Rodríguez Cusí sowie Aurelio Viribay. Ausserdem schloss er 2020 an der Universität in Valencia ein Studium in Tourismus ab. Zu seinem Repertoire gehören Rollen wie Ferrando (Così fan tutte), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Basilio und Don Curzio (Le nozze di Figaro) sowie Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). Als Solist trat er in Haydns Schöpfung, Bachs Magnificat und Mozarts Requiem sowie in der Neuproduktion Cal·líope im Palau de les Arts auf. Álvaro Diana Sanchez ist Gewinner zahlreicher Internationaler Preise: Er war 2022 Finalist beim Concours Mirna Lacambra im spanischen Sabadell, gewann den Ersten Preis sowie den Publikumspreis beim Internationalen Habanera-Wettbewerb in Torrevieja, wurde im Albacete als «Bester Tenor» mit dem Preis «José Ferrero» ausgezeichnet und erreichte beim Lyrikwettbewerb AMAO in Tomelloso den Zweiten Platz. Ab der Spielzeit 2024/25 gehört er zum Internationalen Opernstudio am Opernhaus Zürich.
Noa Joanna Ryff
Die Schweizerin Noa Joanna Ryff genoss schon früh eine klassische Tanzausbildung am Conservatoire de danse Fribourg (CH) in Ballett-, Spitzen-, Modern-, Jazz- und Charaktertanz. An der Musical Factory Luzern kamen Gesang, Schauspiel, Steppen und Hip-Hop dazu. Ihre Musicalausbildung absolvierte sie an der Performing Center Austria und bestand 2022 ihre Bühnenreifeprüfung. Schon früh konnte sie erste Erfahrungen sammeln, als Kendra in 13 – Das Musical, im Chor von Cats an den Thunerseespielen, im Ensemble von Wiener Blut in Blindenmarkt und alternierend als Wendla/Ilse in Spring Awakening. Sie durfte auch im Film The Performance (Dir. Shira Piven) als Teil des Steppensemble (Choreografie: Jared Grimes) mitwirken. Ihr erstes professionelles Engagement führte sie nach Linz in die Produktion Anastasia (Matthias Davids/Kim Duddy). Dann folgten Kiss Me, Kate in Vaduz und Frankenstein Junior am Theater Bonn (Jens Kerbl/Sabine Arthold). Nun ist sie für zwei Produktionen am Opernhaus Zürich zurück in ihrer Heimat.
Chiara Viscido
Chiara Viscido, Tänzerin, geboren in Süditalien, begann ihre professionelle Ausbildung an der Schule des Balletto di Toscana, an der sie anschliessend Mitglied der Junior Company wurde. 2011 tanzte sie am Balletto di Roma und wurde 2012 Mitglied der Fondazione Nazionale della danza Aterballetto. Hier arbeitete sie in den nächsten fünf Spielzeiten mit Choreograf:innen wie Johan Inger, Jiří Kylián, Hofesh Shechter, Ohad Naharin, Mauro Bigonzetti, Francesco Nappa, Cristina Rizzo, Emanuel Gat, Jiří Pokorný, Sita Ostheimer und Giuseppe Spota. 2017-19 war sie Mitglied des Ballettensembles am Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in München. Seit 2019 ist Chiara Viscido als GYROTONIC-Trainerin, freiberufliche Tänzerin und Choreografin tätig. Seit 2021 gestaltet sie als Choreografin die jährliche Show an der Akademie der Musikschule Ismaning. Zudem nahm sie an Projekten in Museen teil wie dem Haus Der Kunst (Franz Erhard Walther in Shifting Perspectives) und der Villa Stuck in München (Kunstinstallation Our Labyrinth von Lee Mingwei). Gastengagements führten sie u.a. ans Staatstheater Hannover, ans Staatstheater Nürnberg, an die Staatsoper München, an die Opéra de Lyon und zum Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. 2023 arbeitet die mit Eric Gauthier für La Fest am Staatstheater Stuttgart. 2024 arbeitete sie mit dem Kollektiv Hidalgo in München, mit Roberta Pisu für Zwischen Welt in Monheim und mit Richard Wherlock an dem Projekt Totentanz.
Pietro Cono Genova
Pietro Cono Genova is originally from Italy. He completed his training at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania and moved to Switzerland in 2013 to work with the Cinevox Junior Company. After six years as a soloist, contemporary dance teacher, and assistant with the company, he began working as a freelancer on various dance projects in Switzerland and across Europe. Most recently, he danced with the new company Cie La Ronde, directed by Cathy Marston and Ihsan Rustem. Pietro Cono Genova is currently working with the Zurich Opera House and the Theater im Kornhaus Baden.
Davide Pillera
Davide Pillera begann seine tänzerische Ausbildung im Alter von 9 Jahren an der sizilianischen Tanzschule «All Jazz». Dort lernte er verschiedene Tanzstile wie Hip-Hop, Modern Jazz und klassischer Tanz. Im Alter von 17 Jahren begann er seine berufliche Laufbahn am Nationalen Tanzkonservatorium in Lyon (Frankreich) und absolvierte sein Studium als professioneller Tänzer im zeitgenössischen Tanz im Jahr 2016.
